Packaging Design for Fancy
As a Senior Designer contractor at Fancy Sprinkles, I led design for the holiday packaging line and the Edible Glitter range, explored AI-assisted design concepts, and finalized the production-ready details for launch. Working directly with the Senior Brand Manager and CEO, I translated the brand’s bold, maximalist personality into festive products that felt unmistakably Fancy on the shelf and in the cart.
I designed the Edible Glitter packaging system, a confident, high-contrast layout anchored by the oversized FANCY wordmark, clear shade naming like "Ruby Red" and "Opulust," and a usage story ("Pour, Stir, Enjoy!") that made the product instantly understandable. The system was built to flex across shades and pack sizes while keeping a single, ownable look.
For the holiday line, I extended the brand into a festive sprinkles program, playful, gift-ready designs like the "Cindy Lou, Who?" sprinkle blend, balancing seasonal warmth with the brand’s signature pink-forward, graphic edge so the products felt special without losing brand equity.
I explored AI-assisted design concepts to move faster through ideation, generating styled lifestyle directions, color and finish studies, and on-trend visual treatments, so the team could evaluate more creative options and align quickly with the CEO and Brand Manager before committing to production.
Partnering directly with the Senior Brand Manager and CEO, I finalized the key details for the holiday launch: locking type, color, and layout specs, refining the dielines and copy, and preparing clean, production-ready files so the festive line could ship on schedule and stay consistent across SKUs.
